Coventry sends Fergie’s Second String Crashing Out

Man Utd 0 – 2 Coventry City

Ferguson out a team he felt were capable of beating Coventry, however the Scot got taught another lesson, never underestimate the opposition.  With the likes of Nani and Anderson in the team, you would of at least expected United would score.  However, United’s youngsters are proving that they don’t quite yet cut the mustard.  Least us not forget that United crashed out to Southend United last season in the same tournament and still went on to win the Premiership, so its not all doom and gloom.

I haven’t seen much of Anderson (United’s new Brazilian), but he is certainly finding it difficult to adjust to English.  The guy certainly has talent, and lacks match practice being out most of last season due to injury and also beginning of this season.  I sure hope Anderson gets some games and manages to break into the United team.  Brazilians’ don’t have a good record at  Old Trafford; remember Kleberson?

Anderson is young and has plently of time and I have confidence he will come good.

Nani has broken into the Man Utd first eleven, he is not yet quite first choice over Giggs yet, however Fergie is usually using Nani when he wants to rest Giggs.  Nani is a key player for United this season, as when Giggs faded away back end of last season, there was no one really who came in to take his place.
